Ray is the Principal of West Beechboro Primary School in Western Australia, Australia.  He’s been a teacher for 26 years and was awarded the Western Australia Primary School Leader of the Year in 2014. 

Ray is also passionate about distance running, and has won the Perth City to Surf eleven times. He also qualified twice for the Olympics in the Marathon.

    Wow! Just took a study break to listen to this podcast and loved it (as always)! Loved listening to Ray’s passion for making changes and stepping outside the comfort zone. I particularly enjoyed listening to his ideas for instigating change – if programs aren’t working, why continue? So important to put the children first and support them to be successful. Loved the Jack Sparrow quote too 🙂
