As a Maths Pedagogical Coach and Teacher, I am committed to building a Thinking Maths classroom where students identify relationships and make connections between numbers, where they are familiar with a range of mental strategies to solve problems, and have diverse ways of representing these strategies.
Maths foundation skills are critical as a base to work from and to build upon. Hence my focus on Number Partners to 10 and 20 and beyond.
